不客气! & 车( You are welcome! & Car )

bù kè qì
- Kèqì means 'polite'.
- “客气”的意思是“客气的”。
- “kè qì ”de yì sī shì “kè qì de ” .

- Bù kèqì literally 'do not be polite', is the response to xièxie, thank you.
- 不客气”依字面直译为“不必客气的”,一般在对方说“谢谢”的时候作为回答。
- “bú kè qì ”yī zì miàn zhí yì wéi “bú bì kè qì de ”,yī bān zài duì fāng shuō “xiè xiè ”de shí hòu zuò wéi huí dá .


Example :
A: Thank you for your help.
xxxx谢谢你的帮忙。
xxxxxiè xiè nǐ de bāng máng.
B: Not at all.
xxxx不客气!
xxxxbú kè qì !

A: Thank you for telling me.
xxxx谢谢你告诉我。
xxxxxiè xiè nǐ gào sù wǒ.
B: You’re welcome!
xxxx不客气!
xxxxbú kè qì !

chē

- In Chinese, anything with wheels is called chē.
- 用中文来说,有轮子的都可以称为”车”。
- yòng zhōng wén lái shuō , yǒu lún zǐ de dōu kě yǐ chēng wéi ”chē ”.

- For example, qìchē, vehicle, gōnggòng qìchē, public bus, chūzūchē, taxi, zìxíngchē, bicycle, huǒchē, train.
- 例如:汽车,公共汽车,出租车,自行车,火车。
- lì rú :qì chē, gōng gòng qì chē, chū zū chē , zì xíng chē , huǒ chē.

- All the above words can be shortened to "chē".
- 上述所有的词都可以简称为"车"。
- shàng shù suǒ yǒu de cí dōu kě yǐ jiǎn chēng wéi "chē".

- Therefore, depending on the context, chē can mean a car, bus, taxi, bike, or train.
- 因此而得知,车可以表示小轿车,公共汽车,出租车,自行车或者火车。
- yīn cǐ ér dé zhī, chē kě yǐ biǎo shì xiǎo jiào chē, gōng gòng qì chē, chū zū chē, zì xíng chē huò zhě huǒ chē.


Example :
A: Can you drive? ( car )
xxxx你会开车吗?
xxxxnǐ huì kāi chē ma?

B: Sorry, I can’t.
xxxx对不起, 我不会。
xxxxduì bú qǐ, wǒ bú huì.

A: I bike to work every day. (”motorcycle” or “bicycle”)
xxxx我每天骑车去上班。(”摩托车” 或者“自行车”)
xxxxwǒ měi tiān qí chē qù shàng bān.("mó tuō chē" huò zhě "zì xíng chē")

P.s. bicycle=自行车= zì xíng chē, also bicycle=脚踏车= jiǎo tà chē
